Why is this programme important?
Human trafficking is a serious problem in Malaysia. It does not only happen among migrant workers but more and more Malaysians are vulnerable to the situation as well. We can only prevent this issue through consistent awareness to the public. Students need to be educated about the issue so they can be less vulnerable to the issue and push for change among their communities.
Workshop on Trafficking in Persons
A workshop for high school students to learn insights on simple definitions and terms about human trafficking, how it happens, and why we should care.
Workshop on Creating Effective Campaigns
Communication for Development (C4D) is a framework for finding solutions to development problems. This session is optional. After this workshop, students will be required to carry out their own awareness campaigns.
